Hallo…
Hoping to get some advice from folks who have flown with both United and Air Canada, or maybe from ticketing agents who work with them.
My partner booked a reward trip to Edinburgh through Amex Travel, and the flights are a mix of United and Air Canada. Here’s the rundown:
Outbound:
IND → EWR (United Express)
EWR → EDI (United)
Return:
EDI → YYZ (Air Canada)
YYZ → IND (Air Canada Jazz)Amex only gave us the United confirmation number for all the flights, but I was able to find the Air Canada confirmation on United’s website.
So here’s the question: For the return flights (both run by Air Canada), does my partner need to check in using the Air Canada app, or can they still use the United app for everything?
Your advice will be highly appreciated…
Check-in is available beginning the day before your flight. Using the app, you may arrange your travel, obtain your boarding permit, and get real-time information.
By using both applications, you can be sure you have access to all the tools and information you need for a smooth travel experience. I hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip!
