What place gave you the biggest culture shock?

Good afternoon… I’m super curious about your experiences. Traveling is such a cool way to see things differently, but some places can really throw you for a loop (in a good way). For those of you who’ve traveled or lived abroad, what place gave you the biggest culture shock? Was it the customs, the food, how people acted, or something else? How did you deal with it, and did it change how you see things?
Your advise would be highly appreciated…

Hallo :smile:Japan, with its distinct customs like bowing and removing shoes indoors, can be a surprising experience for visitors.

:stuck_out_tongue:India’s rich cultural diversity, with its wide variety of religions and languages, can feel overwhelming for some travelers.

The traditional values and customs of the Middle East can be quite different from those in many Western countries. :smiling_face_with_tear:
