TRTL Travel Pillow

I was not a fan, but my spouse loves it.

Obsessed. Left one on a plane once and rebought for return trip. I’ve tried them all.

I bought two about 8-9 years ago for my husband and I to use on a 36 series of flights from DEN to JRO. I liked mine, he did not. He wears headphones, even when sleeping on planes. I can’t wear headphones while sleeping so I switch to earbuds. I think that’s the difference. If you want to use over the ear headphones, it’s not a great fit. If you are okay using earbuds, it is. I will say I don’t think there is anything better currently on the market.

I have a knock off version of it and it’s great!

I have used mine on two flights so far. It worked great when I was sitting by the window. For the middle seat it worked less well.

It was the repositioning factor that I didn’t like with the TRTL. It took too much time and effort if I wanted to shift sleeping position. I have a Bcozzy now, it’s easier to shift around and I feel it works better with my long neck.

I do not. I own it and I think it’s a completely unnecessary awkward and bulky item to bring along with you on a trip. I find that while it can give your head something to rest on, it is at the expense of comfort for whatever it is leaning on. Only I didn’t feel that my head was ever in a comfortable position either. Personally, I am not a fan of any travel pillow. I feel that you can get the intended effects of any travel pillow by getting a window seat and leaning on the window. I also don’t like carrying extra items in my hands when getting on a plane.

But this is just me. Everybody has different positions of comfort in a seated position and that pillow can be conducive to keeping you comfortable on a flight. Maybe still worth trying.

I hated it. Bought it in LA before a flight to Sydney. Hated it so much I left it on a seat in the airport for someone else to enjoy.

I really wanted to love it. I travel a lot. I felt like something in it wasn’t stable, not sure if it was broken or defective, but I emailed them and they did not offer any support. This was after using it only one time. It felt very disappointing. I still have it and keep thinking maybe I will see if I can improve it myself, either repair it or add something to it, but in reality I just feel disappointed and might never get to this project. I really wanted to love it!!

I felt like something in it wasn’t stable, not sure if it was broken or defective. But yeah good point, if I learn that it is meant to feel like that then I should sell it. Thank you!!

I have a dupe from AliExpress. I’ve used it around the world for years and swear by it.

I like mine. Caveat I sleep very little (like about an hour on my 16-hour flight yesterday) but I used it to get comfy and it provides good support when I do doze off. I’m able to wear it with my Sony XM4s but I do position the hard bit pretty far forward. It works well to keep my head from falling forward and I find it cozy.

Tried it, don’t care for it. I’m a smaller person so I bought the regular size and the junior size. They both feel uncomfortable. My ear buds get dislodged when I use it, and it’s hot. The only positive I can see is I didn’t get a sore neck when my head leans forward.
