Good morning…
… I’m in a rough spot and could use some advice. I’m 27 and just drove 12 hours with my partner to visit family. Now, I think I’ve caught a stomach bug or food poisoning. I’ve been super nauseous for over 24 hours and can barely eat anything.
I went to the ER last night because I was shaking, couldn’t sleep, and felt awful. They ran some tests, but everything came back normal, and I tested negative for COVID, RSV, and the flu.
We were supposed to stay with family for another day, but given how I’m feeling, we’re planning to head home tomorrow so I can rest and recover before going back to work.
Does anyone have tips for handling a long road trip when you’re feeling incredibly nauseous and queasy? I’m really anxious about spending 12+ hours in the car feeling like this, and just thinking about it is making me even more stressed. Anxiously awaiting response…
