Recommendations Stay in Buenos Aires

Hello everyone, I am visiting Buenos Aires from August 1 to August 7 and am looking for recommendations on good coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping spots.

These are some hotels I’m considering:

  • Casa Lucia C1007
  • Alvear Art C1008
  • Palo Santo Hotel C1425
  • Fierro Hotel C1425BYJ

I’m also thinking about Airbnb but unsure which neighborhood to stay in. Thanks for your suggestions!

Buenos Aires offers something for everyone, making it a perfect destination. Here’s a quick guide for your visit from August 1st to 7th. For coffee, be sure to check out Full City Coffee Roasters, Negro Cueva de Café, Lattente, or Vive Café. When it comes to food, Don Julio is an upscale steakhouse, El Preferido de Palermo offers authentic Argentine flavors, Tegui provides a high-end tasting menu experience, and La Nonna serves classic Italian dishes. For shopping, Palermo Soho is known for its trendy boutiques, Recoleta features luxury brands, San Telmo is famous for antiques and tango, and La Boca offers colorful souvenirs. When choosing where to stay, Recoleta is posh with fancy stores, Palermo Soho is trendy with cafes and nightlife, and Palermo Hollywood is more relaxed with great restaurants and bars. Consider staying in an Airbnb in these neighborhoods for a more local experience.

Lattente will do so for a coffee shop because it is known for its high-quality coffee and charming location in Palermo.

Elena is the perfect restaurant for you to check out. Located in the Four Seasons Hotel, this restaurant offers a luxurious dining experience with Argentine and international cuisine. In addition you can sleep in the same place because the hotel offers accomodation.

When I visited Buenos Aires, I was overwhelmed by the city’s vibrant culture and culinary scene. I stayed in Palermo, which is fantastic for its trendy coffee shops like Coffee Town and Florería Atlántico, plus great restaurants such as Don Julio and La Cabrera. For shopping, check out the boutiques on Gorriti Street and the markets in San Telmo. Among the hotels you’re considering, Alvear Art and Palo Santo are excellent choices for their location and amenities. Airbnb can be great if you choose neighborhoods like Palermo or Recoleta for a more local experience. Enjoy your trip!
