Hallo…
I’m thinking about getting into travel nursing and had a few questions for those of you already doing it:
How long are your typical rotations or contracts? Is there a set length, or does it depend?
And between rotations, do you usually get some time off? Like a week or more to chill before the next assignment, or is it usually back-to-back work?
Would love to hear how it goes for you!
Best wishes…
Travel nursing entails accepting temporary jobs at various medical facilities across the nation. It’s a fantastic opportunity to further your nursing profession while traveling to new areas.
To work, you must hold a valid nursing license in the state or states you choose to work in . A minimum of two years of recent bedside experience in your specialty is required by many hospitals.
Assignments can be selected according to your preferences, abilities, and preferred places. Together, you and your recruiter will identify the ideal fit.

As a travel nurse, will my pay increase? Pay rates might vary depending on location, specialization, and cost of living, but generally speaking, travel nurses make more money than staff nurses.
