Package Offers from Travel Companies

I’m a burned out community mental health worker and the idea of paying one company to handle everything for me is really appealing. I subscribe to TravelZoo and see these great package deals from Exoticca, Great Value Vacations, Escape by Globus… they seem like reasonable deals sometimes and I’m ready to just pay and go without overthinking it.

But whenever I google these companies, I find lots of warnings and low ratings. I know people often complain loudly on the internet, but I can’t afford to risk booking a trip where things might go wrong.

Does anyone have recommendations for reputable companies like these? Something trustworthy? I’m in the States and would love to sign up for deal alerts from a reliable source

Exoticca operates from Spain, which might raise concerns. If you’re in doubt, it’s wise to consider other options. Perhaps try a local travel agency where you can pay a bit extra for peace of mind.

Try Rick Steves. Expensive but excellent.

On my last 3travels to Europe, I traveled via gate 1. They offer excellent rates on everything. The one thing that bothers me is that even though they claim you’re going to a destination for three days, the first day also counts for the time it takes to get there. Thus, you will be wasting thirty minutes exploring. Actually, I’m utilizing gate 1 and will be traveling to Spain in a few days. In Spain, I spent $1700 for eight days. That covers everything.

Our first Trafalgar tour, which took us from London to Paris to Lucerne to Venice to Florence to Rome, has ended.

Though we could have had them book the flights if we had preferred. They arrange lodging and transit to every city accompanied by travel directors and tour guides. 10/10 would suggest.
