Looking for a weekend, beach/pool get away in US

Hello everyone!

I’m in Ontario, Canada and I’m looking for a quick 2-4 day stay somewhere hot in the US.

I’ve only really booked week long all-inclusive vacations in South America before. Are there any All Inclusive resorts in the US? I’d say Florida is one of the closer hot spots to me but I’m open to other states as well.

Puerto Rico is a shoo-in for beach and relatively close and cheap from Ontario.

I think Florida would be great options. Either by the coast or Orlando has very reasonably priced resorts with big pools.

Puerto Rico!

South Florida offers several all-inclusive resorts. Check out Fort Lauderdale or Key West for some options. For shorter trips, booking flights and hotels separately might be more flexible and potentially cheaper than all-inclusives. Kayak Explore is great for finding flight deals.

I find most Canadians like the all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana. You won’t find many if any all-inclusive resorts in the US.

Maybe Vegas.

What time of year? Would help inform responses.

Florida is unquestionably a great option for a short beach or pool vacation in the US! Destinations such as Miami, Key West, or Clearwater have stunning beaches and a few all-inclusive choices. You could also want to think about places like Myrtle Beach in South Carolina or certain resorts in California if you’re open to visiting other states. Have fun organizing your vacation!

San Diego, but note always cold water. All surfers in wrist to elbow 2-3mm wetsuits this week.

Came here to say Puerto Rico. It’s only a couple hours from Florida.

Check out Sarasota.

Don’t do an all-inclusive in America, there’s no value in that. I would choose San Diego, plenty of great restaurants.
