Good Places to Work as a Nurse?

Hallo…

I’m a new grad nurse who started out in Iowa, and let me tell you, the patient ratios are a nightmare—usually 1:6, and in Mason City, some nights it’s even 1:7. It’s been pretty rough.
I’ve done some traveling to Minnesota (United Hospital in St. Paul) and now I’m in Washington (Swedish First Hill in Seattle), and I’ve loved both places! I’ve never had more than 5 patients on nights, plus I actually get breaks, which was a total dream compared to Iowa.
So I’m curious—where have you all traveled or what hospitals have you worked at that you really liked? I’m in med-surg, so any recommendations would be awesome!

With best regards…
