Found flights from London to Prague on Google Flights, and it looks a little pricier than I anticipated (last minute booking). Should I just book the flight, or are there any Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals for flights that can save me some few quids?
Black Friday and Cyber Monday often include flight deals, but they’re typically for advance bookings, not last-minute trips. Prices for your London to Prague flight might rise closer to the date, so it’s safer to book now. Use tools like Skyscanner or Google Flights to compare prices, and sign up for airline alerts in case of any last-minute promotions.
@Gray
Also modern flight seat pricing is basically an auction so I am not sure how much you can “Black Friday” an auction although either way it’s a great marketing opportunity.
Not really, it’s the usual “BIG SAVINGS” followed by it being the normal deals you can always find.
You could potentially save some money; consider using flight comparison tools like Skyscanner or Google Flights to monitor fares and explore alternative dates or nearby airports. Additionally, signing up for airline newsletters or following them on social media can alert you to any upcoming promotions.
Yeah, some airlines e.g. SAS/Norwegian will do something, though they’ve been active about a week and end tonight, so probably the good stuff is gone. As with anything, compare to make sure the price is really a bargain and don’t be fooled into getting something that doesn’t suit you just because it’s ‘cheap’.
I’ve also been wondering this!
Air New Zealand always has some great Cyber Monday sales.
+1. Also wondering if I should hold out for tomorrow for ‘travel Tuesday’ or just bite the bullet now.
Flight deals can happen on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but it’s not always the case. Keep an eye out for deals on flight websites or apps!
Idk but I booked my summer flight for Paris last Monday and the price for business class on AA is almost double today! If you see a good deal, grab it.
No.
Nope, the flight I was looking for never changed in price.
Travel Tuesday. This year it’s Dec 3rd. Make sure you look at the prices today first though to see if you’re getting a good deal or if the company is just changing the base price to a higher one and making you pay the same. Good luck!
I saw on my Instagram WanaGetAway.com is offering discount 7-day resort travel packages for like $500 to a ton of locations. Playing around with the site so far and I see a few spots we usually go to with some great value. They offer memberships (I’m a WanaGetAway member because I do save money with my family’s yearly trips) but this offer is open to the public.
Annual membership has been worth it to me, but I know memberships aren’t for everyone so figured I’d pass the deal along.
Cyber Monday was more, saw that they dropped a little today but not much.
