Any tips for a long flight?

How to be fresh in a 20+hr flight? Any product recommendation to take care of body odor, bad breath, etc?

Brushing your teeth, using deodorant, or a quick wash if you can (armpits, face etc.) makes a huge difference.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate with water.

I don’t drink alcohol while flying, gives me a headache.

Safe travels!

Body wipes. To freshen up.

Toothbrush and toothpaste.

Fresh pair of underwear and socks.

Facial care. Lip balm.

Drink lots of water.

Drink a lot of water.

Bring lotion and lip balm so your skin is not dry.

Bring your toothbrush and toothpaste and brush your teeth after you eat. Will help you sleep better and keep breath fresh.

All the basic “keep you fresh” items have been listed.

But you also want to be well-rested: that’s my best way to be “fresh.”

Neck pillow, blanket, eye mask, earplugs or noise-canceling headphones.

Sitting in a window seat means you won’t have to wake up each time one of your row mates needs to get up.

Which neck pillow do you suggest?

I don’t have a preference.

I’ve bought 3 or 4 over the years, and as long as it fits your neck comfortably, it was good enough for me.

My wife prefers the ones that have a snap to “close” it around your neck.

Any neck pillow that’s inflatable! Find one on Amazon that has an easy deflating valve! Let the air go until it’s not stretching your neck!

• Hydrate

• Get up and stretch every hour or two

• Have at least 3 things you can do while in your seat

• Take your shoes off.

Healthy snacks are a lifesaver! I like to pack nuts and fruit; something light that won’t leave you feeling sluggish.

I like to bring face wipes, deodorant wipes, Colgate wisps (small toothbrush things that don’t require water). Airplane air tends to dry me out, so in the days prior to a flight, I try to hydrate extra and also use deep conditioning hair masks and moisturizing face masks. If you’re female, swapping out panty liners throughout the flight is an easy way to stay feeling fresh. I tend to also bring clean underwear and a T-shirt to change into when I land.

Compression socks.

Deodorant wipes.

Toothpaste (or toothpaste tabs for a solid alternative).

If you have a layover long enough - a shower (some lounges offer this or some airports have them as standalone purchase options).

Stay hydrated - use hydration sachets.

Moisturizer, lip balm, and sunscreen (UV rays are much stronger in the air).

Decent eye cover and neck pillow.

Earplugs (I like the loop quiet 2’s), noise cancellation headphones.

Change of clothes for either layover or when you land.

M9 odor eliminator spray.

I do transatlantic flights a few times a year, Boston-Doha. Xanax, noise-canceling headphones, a good neck pillow, slippers, a comfortable, baggy sweatshirt, an eye mask, and ear plugs. Started doing the slippers, and that made a huge difference.

Lol it doesn’t matter, whatever slipper you want to wear and fit into your carry-on. I switch into them once I get to my seat. But I guess some with a tougher, thicker bottom so you can walk around on the plane when needed.

Wine with dinner. Then, 1/2 Xanax with water right afterwards.

First-class ticket.
