Is that price in both directions? When they launched Cape Town only the one leg was on promotion and the return was at full price.

I’m flying Norse for the first time later this year. Doing LAX-Rome and was shocked how cheap it was. Ended up doing their premium economy seating and still feel like it was too cheap but I’m excited to try it out. How is it flying with them?

@Nova
I flew Norse premium from JFK to London last year and it was great! The seats were really big, leaned back pretty far, and tons of leg room. The meal was like a normal economy meal. But it was my first experience upgraded from economy and I actually slept!

Edit: forgot to mention they do weigh your carry on bags so make sure you’re in the bag allowance. You get a little more weight with premium. There’s also a special checkin line at the airport for premium so you don’t have to wait in the hella long line (no online checkin)

@Hal
Thanks! That’s good to hear, I can never sleep on planes so hoping these seats will give me a chance for the overnight flight…

I was supposed to fly Norse LGW to NYC for an evening flight in June 2024 - didn’t happen because the plane never showed up! The support staff at the airport could not explain why, and did not help me with any of the issues that followed. They clocked out and left me to scramble to solve the issue myself. I ended up having to book my own expensive flight home the next day from LHR and spending $100s more on a hotel and Uber from LGW to LHR areas.

Writing this just so others don’t end up in my situation - I’ll never (attempt to) fly Norse again.

Wow that sucks, did you get any compensation?

Sorry to hear that. They should have rebooked you on the next available flight.

@Penny
They did - sorry forgot to mention that. However I needed to be home before that next flight a full day later so I was on my own.
