Travel planning on the Wanderlog appears to be more popular among friends than on Trip Advisor. But I don’t see how Wanderlog plots the locations of the sights and attractions like Trip Advisor does?
Hotels.com generally offers the best deals on hotels, while for packages, Kayak, Expedia, and Travelocity are also competitive. Travelocity is notably used by “The Amazing Race.”
For me, the best app for trip planning is Booking.com. I find it to be a well-rounded trip planner app that allows me to book and organize my trip while earning points and getting great deals. Its user interface is visually appealing and easy to use, making it simple to add my top picks to favorites, glance through reviews, and check cancellation policies. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive platform for booking flights, car rentals, taxis, and city attractions, making it a great all-in-one place to plan and book upcoming weekend getaways or longer vacations

Hello Jerry, TripIt - Best for organization and automatic itinerary creation: TripIt excels at creating a master itinerary by automatically pulling together your flight confirmations, hotel reservations, and other travel plans from your email. It keeps everything organized in one place and provides helpful features like real-time flight tracking and alerts.
In simple terms, “plots the sights” means to mark or place the locations on a map.
If you list attractions, they appear as icons on the map. But if you add them to a specific day in your schedule, lines showing navigation routes will appear between them on the map.
I use TripIt, Google Maps, and a Google spreadsheet together. I got rid of my TripAdvisor app a while ago because it tends to favor popular tourist spots. Before my trip, I mark a lot of places I want to visit on Google Maps and use that map while I’m exploring.
