What's the best travel credit card with no annual fee?

I’m trying to choose a travel credit card. Right now, I only have a basic Discover card and an Amazon Prime credit card. They don’t give me many travel points. My fiancé and I want to use a travel credit card to pay for our wedding expenses. We’ll pay off everything right away, just like we do with our other cards. We plan to use this card to pay for some or all of our honeymoon flights. We’d like a card with no annual fee. We’ll mostly be flying with Southwest. Any suggestions?

Hey…When it comes to travel credit cards with no annual fee, several options stand out for their valuable rewards, perks, and benefits.

Give the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card some thought. It has an annual charge, but its travel benefits—which include points that can be redeemed for Southwest—may make up for it. The Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card is a sensible option if you absolutely must have a card with no annual fees. It provides decent travel rewards that are instantly applied to Southwest flights.

Based on my experience, I recommend the Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority Credit Card to anyone who travels with Southwest at least once a year. While all travel reward cards charge yearly fees, this one is worthwhile. The charge is covered by 7,500 anniversary points and a $75 yearly Southwest travel credit, plus you can receive up to four Upgraded Boarding tickets every year, which is worth $120. It is ideal for optimizing travel credits and covering wedding costs and honeymoon airfares.
