I want to go to Chicago in October because I love its architecture. I’ve also heard it’s a great place for food lovers. Which neighborhood should I stay in to be close to the city’s best restaurants, cafes, and bakeries? I’m okay with using public transportation.

The “classic” restaurants are most accessible from The Loop, which is near to downtown (in actuality, The Loop, Magnificent Mile, and Gold Coast are in a line that stretches north from the center of downtown.)
