What travel water bottle do you like best

I travel a lot for work and prefer to carry my own water bottle on planes, during hotel stays, and for meetings. I’m having trouble finding one that fits in my bag, keeps water cold, and doesn’t leak. Please share your favorite travel water bottle. Thanks

I like the Owala 24 oz. It has a straw that lets you sip or drink easily. It’s a neat design and the size works well for work or travel

If you fly or go to higher altitudes, you’ll need to open the larger part of the bottle. Trust me on this

  1. Your username is awesome.

  2. When you open it, water bursts out of the straw and sprays everywhere including all over me and my daughter. I still haven’t learned since this has happened THREE TIMES

I’m new to Owala and I can’t imagine my bottles without the free sip feature anymore. I drink so much water and it’s a great design

I really enjoy my Yeti water bottle. I have the 32 oz Rambler with the chug cap

Yeti is great. Of all the stainless bottles I’ve tried, this one stays cold the longest

I got mine at REI while it was on sale and I used my rebate. No regrets at all

My 24oz Owala is perfect for travel because the top opens easily instead of needing to unscrew a lid. Plus, it’s covered so my mouth isn’t touching a part that’s been on dirty surfaces. I’ve never had it leak, and water stays cold

I bought an 18 oz Hydro Flask a few years back for travel. I’ve tried larger ones but found that the 18 oz is just enough to keep me hydrated while traveling

I have a 21 oz. I love sip lids at home but they leak if tipped over, so I use the regular screw top lid when I’m traveling

I’ve taken my Hydro Flask with a straw top to every continent and it has never leaked!

After 15 years of business travel, I’m all for the 32 oz Nalgene water bottle. It’s light, cheap, holds a lot, and is nearly indestructible.

My favorite part is that I use it as a foam roller while traveling. It really helps after long flights with a sore back

Slightly off-topic, but can you share what you do that requires so much travel? I’m dreaming of a job with travel options

I have friends who work as AV Tech for artists on tours. Some sell their merchandise too. It’s stressful, but there’s a new city every week

@Lorin
I use a clear water bottle from Decathlon (Quechua brand) that has been with me everywhere. It’s lightweight and cheap. I even got a snap hook for it to easily clip onto my bag.

I love music festivals too, and the clear Nalgene bottles are the only types allowed inside at least in the US

Hydro Flask Trail Series. It’s stainless steel, vacuum insulated, and has a wide mouth lid. It’s one of the lightest water bottles like this

I usually buy a smart water bottle after going through security. It lasts me through several trips, but I always end up leaving it full in my carry-on and have to throw it out. I keep doing this, so no nice water bottles for me

Consumer Reports says Zojirushi is the top brand. They are pricey, at least in Canada
