What’s the "Soho in London" Equivalent in Vienna for a Lively Stay?

Good evening…

My husband and I (both mid-thirties) are heading to Vienna next year and we’re looking for some tips. We love grabbing drinks at pubs or late-night bars with fun, lively vibes—kind of like Soho in London. We enjoy being close to historical spots but also want to be in an area with a lot of energy, where we can hang out and have a good time.
We’re cool with walking to District 1 for sightseeing, but where’s the best area to stay if we want to be in the middle of the action? Does District 1 have good nightlife, or should we look elsewhere? We’re not into clubs or discos—just chill spots where we can have a beer or coffee and hang out late.

In anticipation…

Neubau is a terrific Vienna counterpart of Soho in London for a stimulating stay. Neubau, which is in the 7th district, is well-known for its lively ambiance and plenty of hip cafés, boutiques, and bars.

It’s a popular destination for youthful creatives and trendsetters, with a vibrant nightlife and a blend of contemporary and vintage stores.

Leopoldstadt is another vibrant neighborhood to take into account. In particular, the area surrounding :unamused: the Karmelitermarkt is well-known for its hip eateries, cafes, and artistic atmosphere.

For travelers wishing to see the :face_with_raised_eyebrow: livelier side of Vienna, these areas provide a bright and upbeat atmosphere.

Best is u go n visit and get a tour guide who will take u round from a reputable tour company :sunglasses:
