I’m planning a vacation and need some recommendations for vacation rentals. What are some of the best platforms or websites to find great deals? Any tips on what to look for in a rental or red flags to avoid?

Vrbo but it’s typically more expensive

For vacation rentals, I’ve had great luck with Airbnb and Vrbo. Both have tons of options and you can find some real gems if you dig a little.

I haven’t used these two sites before, but when I was looking for ways to stay somewhere other than Airbnb, I found Houfy and HomeEscape.
