Hallo…
I’m considering a CVICU contract in Louisville and saw two options: UofL Louisville Jewish and the Heart Hospital. Does anyone know what the difference is between the two? I’m curious about things like patient load, team culture, and overall vibe.
Has anyone worked in the CVICU at either place? I’d love to hear your thoughts or any advice on which might be a better fit.

Within these facilities, the CVICU is a critical care unit that offers patients with serious cardiac diseases specialized care.
the Jewish Hospital offers a wider range of cardiovascular services, including transplants, while the cardiac Hospital is more concentrated on cutting-edge cardiac treatments and research. Both institutions are essential components of UofL Health and concentrate on heart care.
