Traveling with a 1-Year-Old for the First Time! Any hacks for keeping her entertained on a flight?

Hallo…

We’re about to take our first flight with our 1-year-old, and I could really use some advice! It’s a four-hour flight, and we’re visiting family. We tried to get an extra seat for her, but no luck, so she’ll be sitting on our laps (and she’s super independent and not very cuddly, so this should be interesting ).
I’m stressing about how to keep her entertained for that long without driving everyone on the plane nuts. I’m not sure what to pack to keep her busy. Any ideas would be super helpful! :disappointed:
Also, first-time posting here, so if there’s a better place for this, feel free to point me in the right direction!
How will you solve this…

Bring a mix of her favorite snacks and some new ones to keep things interesting. Small, easy-to-eat snacks like puffs, fruit slices, and crackers can be lifesavers.

Tiny yet captivating Interactive soft activity books :face_exhaling: These will keep her occupied :face_with_diagonal_mouth: Easy to use but entertaining

On a tablet, download some baby-friendly applications or shows if you feel safe doing so. Make sure your headphones are suitable for kids.

Playing simple games like sticker games or peek-a-boo may be quite entertaining. Additionally entertaining and mess-free are window gel clings.

While taking a small child on a trip might present some difficulties, it can also be an enjoyable experience if you prepare ahead of time. :airplane::blush: Happy travels!
