Travel Nurse Inquiry about Las Vegas

Good afternoon…

I’m thinking about taking a travel nurse gig in Las Vegas and could really use some advice. A bit of background: I’m an RN with a couple of years of experience, and this would be my first travel assignment. I have a few questions:
Work stuff: How are the hospitals there? Do they have a good rep, and what’s the vibe like for travel nurses?
Cost of living: I know Vegas is a tourist hotspot, but is it super expensive to live there? How’s the housing situation? Does the pay balance things out?
Lifestyle: I’ve heard there’s a ton to do in Vegas, but I’m not really into the party scene. Are there quieter areas to live in? What about activities like hiking or other outdoorsy things? Safety: How safe is it living and working in Vegas? Any neighborhoods I should steer clear of when looking for a place?
Weather: I’m used to colder weather, so how brutal is the heat? Does it take a while to adjust?
I’d love to hear from anyone who’s worked as a travel nurse in Vegas or knows the area. Any tips or personal experiences would be awesome!

Best regards…
