How does someone just acquire that?

Do you know a white woman? They’re mostly loaded with it these days.
There’s a technique involving routine and pattern recognition. Establish a pattern you can do while lying down that helps signal your brain it’s time to sleep. For instance, clench and unclench muscles while counting down from 100 by 5s. Use gentle sounds in the background.
@Inaya
This is my approach too.
Fly business class.

I can’t afford that!
I hope to try the Sleeper Hold, but for now I use a camping pillow made from chipped memory foam, noise-canceling earbuds and plenty of alcohol and melatonin.
What works for me is asking for alcohol after the meal service, finishing my meal, brushing my teeth, and then boring myself with in-flight entertainment. Usually puts me to sleep. If not, melatonin helps!
I have a discontinued Ogawa massager neck pillow and a cheap sleep mask with built-in Bluetooth headphones, which help me sleep easily on planes, coaches, and trains.
Don’t sleep before the flight.
I don’t have any tips that don’t involve drugs or alcohol (not both).
I don’t think anyone really sleeps well on a plane unless they’re in first class with a bed. I take Seroquel due to a condition, which helps, but it isn’t great sleep on a plane.
Benadryl and a glass of wine. Just one, don’t overdo it or you’ll feel terrible.
The only way, in my opinion, is to have a lie-flat seat. Sleeping in a sitting position is nearly impossible for me.
Melatonin tablets.
Book business or first class. If that’s not possible, use Valium.
I don’t force myself to sleep. I listen to an audiobook and close my eyes, letting myself drift off. I sleep some, but if not, resting helps too. Key things are keeping my eyes closed, the audiobook, and being comfortable. I usually bring a fleece jacket, use it as a blanket, and have a small blow-up camping pillow that rolls up small. Last trip, I used the Time Shifter app, which helped with jet lag by following sleep, light, and caffeine suggestions.
