Should I Apply for Global Entry as Someone Who Doesn’t Travel Frequently?

Hey guys…
I wanna apply for Global Entry, but I don’t travel very often. Even though I love to travel, I really dislike the airport part of it! My main goal is to get through security as quickly as possible, and I don’t currently have TSA PreCheck.

I’ve heard that Global Entry can really speed things up, especially with international travel, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it for someone like me who doesn’t travel frequently.

I know the approval process can take some time, and I want to get this sorted out as soon as possible. What do you all think? Is it a good investment for infrequent travelers, or would I be better off sticking with other options?

Yes, it includes TSA Precheck and costs just $20 more. That extra $20 is worth it the first time you quickly pass through customs without the usual hassle.

Is there an interview location close to where you live? In some states, there isn’t even one, and getting an appointment can take a really long time, even if you have a location nearby.

In my opinion, PreCheck is definitely worth it, and Global Entry is a good option too. However, if getting an interview is going to be a major hassle, it might not be worth the trouble.
