@Sage
Very helpful. Thank you!
Medellin is very pretty at Christmas time. Ecuador is cheap, and the beaches and food are great.

Thank you!
Use the Google flights map explorer, and it will give you the cheapest places to fly during your timeframe. As someone else pointed out, you’re planning to fly during one of the busiest seasons of the year with little notice.
@Nico
Hi. Yes, that’s why I listed those areas as they’re not too expensive flight-wise from me. It’s the country I’ve been trying to pin down specifically.
Ecuador is definitely an option. Food in the Andes is high quality and cheap; it’s also inexpensive to take buses around. You can stay at a local hotel and negotiate a monthly rate for a good price.

Ooh, thank you!
Lol. Most places in South America.
Haiti is pretty cheap, but the only downside is, according to Fox News, you’ll have to be OK with eating the cats and the dogs and the pets of the people who live there.
Go make a profile on Latin American Cupid dating site. Find a hot chick in Latin America who’s willing to let you stay with her for a while. Free accommodations, possibly food too. And a guaranteed good time. I’ve done this multiple times.
El Salvador is awesome. There’s a coastal town named El Tunco which is pretty bustling. Could do tours to other places with the chicken bus, which is the best experience ever!
Would probably stay away from Costa Rica and Panama. It’s a lot like the US with its shopping outlets and food haha.
Asia would be a good option if the flight is doable on your budget. Might also be good to check if you can fly to a large city like Singapore and book a separate flight to wherever you want from there.
