First-Time Car Rental Advice Needed!

Hallo…
I’ve never rented a car before and need some help. I’ve been looking into it and reading the fine print, but I’m still pretty confused.
So, I’m 23 and I need to rent a cheap car for two days. I’m planning to pick it up at the airport and drop it back off there when I’m done.
I’ve got a few questions:

  • Are there any rental places that don’t ask for a deposit? Or maybe a way to avoid paying one?
  • How does the insurance thing work? Do I have to pay for it separately, or is it included in the total price? And besides insurance, is there anything else I should consider adding for coverage?
  • Any tips or things I should know that most first-timers miss?
    Your advice is welcome…

The majority of rental firms have age requirements of at least 25 years. Some may demand an extra price, while some accept drivers as young as 21.

Think about how many passengers and how much room you need for bags. More spacious automobiles provide more comfort, :wink:yet economy cars are more affordable and fuel-efficient.

Getting a better deal on your reservation early might assist. Examine rates from many rental firms and keep an eye out for special offers or discounts.

Recognize the fuel policy. While some firms charge for refilling, others insist that you return the vehicle with the tank full.

whether the rental automobile coverage is provided by your credit card or personal auto insurance. If not, think about getting insurance from the rental agency.
