Cheapest way to go on a beach vacation?

Hello everyone, my friend and I are planning to travel in December, and we would like to go somewhere with a laid-back beach and island atmosphere. Since we are both broke college students, we want to keep the cost of this trip as low as possible. We would be grateful for any information on how we might make this happen. Since we have never traveled before, any advice on possible places to go, how to make reservations, or anything else is greatly appreciated.

As someone looking for the cheapest way to go on a beach vacation, I’ve done extensive research and found that there are several affordable options. For college students or those on a tight budget, destinations like Destin, Florida, and Jacksonville, North Carolina, offer a mix of relaxation and activities at a fraction of the cost of other beach destinations. Jacksonville, for instance, has a cost of living about 25% less than the national average, making it an ideal spot for families. Palm Bay, Florida, is another great choice, with a cost of living far below the national average and plenty of free outdoor activities. For those willing to travel from Seattle, Cabo or Cancun can be found with flexible travel dates and affordable accommodations. By planning carefully and considering all transportation and lodging costs, you can have a relaxing and enjoyable beach vacation without breaking the bank.

Check out places like Mexico or Thailand—they have amazing beaches and are budget-friendly. Look for cheap flights on sites like Skyscanner or Google Flights.

For someone from California, 1500 miles is quite far. Whether it applies to you or not, getting in the group will save costs.

I am aware that I want to use Airbnb to rent a winter lodge in the winter. We can make it work on a tight budget if we have enough people, as a complete four-bedroom home costs only $200 per night. We will be cooking in the kitchen, and everyone will contribute to the groceries we buy.

Hey, you can check out Cancun from this video. They don’t state exactly how much they spent but its snippets of the price ranges to expect.
I think it was a great destination and they managed to stay cheap

What a fantastic plan! It’s a great deal to rent a four-bedroom Airbnb for $200 per night, especially if you can split the cost with a group. Making your own food can undoubtedly help you stick to a restricted budget. Have fun with your winter retreat!
