REI sells travel containers that have worked well for me. Just make sure not to fill them completely to manage air pressure changes.
I just got the Kitsch travel container for their shampoo bars. I’ve used a shampoo bar for a while now, and I usually just toss it in a bag, but this container keeps it separate and dry. I tested it with water and was surprised it didn’t leak.
These bars are great for travel because they’re not liquids. I’m planning to stick with them, especially for trips. Kitsch even offers bars specifically for blondes; my daughter loves hers. Other brands also have similar shampoo and conditioner bars, but I haven’t tried them yet.

I’ve bought expandable silicone bottles on Amazon before with success, though they aren’t the easiest to clean. They also go in the dishwasher, which is nice. Now, they also offer stretchy silicone covers that go over bottles to prevent leaks. I want to get some, but they’re still on my shopping list since I haven’t needed them yet.
I’ve been using the same four Cadence containers for a few years without any leaks. Some people have had issues, but I think they are great and enjoy that they’re magnetic.
I found MRSDRY on Amazon. They are silicone, and no leaks or cleaning troubles at all.
The little Tresomme bottles are great for me. They are slightly larger than hotel samples, and they never leak, so I keep refilling them with my current products.
I switched to Nalgene and I’m really happy. They are affordable, durable, don’t leak, and I don’t have to worry about silicone. For those recommending silicone, just be cautious about putting beauty products with silicone ingredients inside; they can cling to the container, expand, and end up leaking.
Nalgene 0.5 oz bottles are great!
I use all my same products but transfer them into eye contact containers. Never had a leak yet.
Cadence is a solid choice.
Whatever bottle I use, I add a double layer of plastic wrap (or a snack-sized baggie) between the bottle and cap to prevent leaks. Never had an issue with that.
