Best place for in-depth flight reviews?

Do you folks have a favorite site where you can read evaluations of flights? These may be route- or airline-specific.

I’m trying to find a location where I can post reviews of my (long-distance) flights and maybe get some advice from other travelers.

Flyertalk typically provides trip reports, although they are mostly focused on reward redemptions for business and first class travel.

If I want to see what a certain hard, metal product looks like, I can watch it on YouTube.

The community at flight-report.com is way bigger and has more content than Flyertalk. Plus, it’s all indexed!

Here are my top recommendations for the best places to find in-depth flight reviews: The Points Guy is one of the most comprehensive sites for airline and flight reviews. They cover everything from economy to first class on major domestic and international carriers. Detailed reviews include photos, seat maps, and ratings for comfort, service, food and entertainment. Frequent Flyer (frequentflier.com) also has a large library of flight reviews across all classes of service. Reviews are written by a team of experienced flyers and include tips on getting the best seats and value. For ultra-premium cabin reviews, check out Luxury Travel Diary. They review first-class and business-class products from airlines like Etihad, Emirates and Singapore. The reviews are in-depth with lots of photos and videos. Lastly, SeatGuru is a must-visit for detailed seat maps and reviews. They rate seats based on comfort, legroom, recline and proximity to galleys and lavatories. When planning a flight, I always consult these sites to get a clear picture of what to expect and how to have the best experience.

Singapore Airlines is excellent. They saved our trip to Southeast Asia. There had been an issue with our Vietnam visa. Singapore Airlines checked ahead to see whether it was accepted and provided us with contact information to have it repaired. If they hadn’t done it, we would have gone to Vietnam and been turned away! Kudos to Singapore Airlines.
