Best city in Europe to celebrate New Year’s Eve?

Edinburgh.

Reykjavik, Iceland is amazing. It will be cold but fun!

Consider Prague for its festive atmosphere, beautiful architecture and affordable group accommodations. Really perfect for a memorable New Year’s celebration. Best of luck!

Budapest.

Paris is great.

But bring ice with you. The locals drink beer and Coca Cola at room temperature like perverts.

Vienna is fantastic! Link to travel diary

Paris, Zurich.

Paris

Where OP already said they live.

Zurich

You got a convincing argument for that?

OP is looking for festive and affordable.

Oh sorry, just read the title. Zurich is a nice city, also there might be snow, I guess they don’t spare on expenses for a festive, that’s why I suggested. All the others are just overused.

@Meech

also there might be snow

There probably won’t be.

I guess they don’t spare on expenses for a festive, that’s why I suggested.

Is that to say you have no actual idea/experience, you just figured that being a rich city they must throw lots of money at it?
