I have been chatting with friends, and everyone has strong opinions on which airlines offer the best service. Delta and American seem to be the favorites, while Jet Blue is rated the lowest. Is there a significant difference in price and service between them? I am planning a round trip from CA to MA.
I would not compare the two because that would I would be partial on Delta because it is my favorite airline.
Nevertheless, I would recommend Delta because:
- Delta flies to more destinations hence offering a wide range of destinations to choose from
- What makes me go for Delta always is the fact that Delta is known for its service quality, including amenities like in-flight entertainment, comfortable seating, and frequent flyer benefits.
Delta and American are pricier but known for good service, reliability, and more flight options. Jet Blue offers the cheapest fares, comfy seats, and entertainment, but service might be basic and there could be fewer flights. It depends on what matters most - saving money with Jet Blue or a smoother experience with Delta/American? Check online reviews for your specific route to see what other passengers thought
Alaska and JB are included in Tier 1.5, in my opinion. Because they are a member of the AA network and have an excellent in-flight product, you have almost complete access to the US market.
Due of its uniqueness, it can be challenging to compare Southwest to other airlines. There are no real “hubs,” flights go practically everywhere in the US from anyplace in the US, but the in-flight experience is also fairly poor and the seats are terrible.
