You can steal a car just like that? From an airport?

You can literally do whatever you want.

You can literally go buy a vest, sit in a parking garage, and tell someone “yeah I’ll return the car for you, you’re good” and just steal it… Why would you just give it to some random person? Sounds like you got played tbh.
@Lex
I was thinking the exact same thing. Like why would you just hand the keys and rental agreement over to some random person in a vest. I always return to vehicle to the designated spot for vehicles to be returned and pull up right behind all the other vehicles so there is no funny business.
@Lex
How do you get it out the gate? There is a gatekeeper and he wants your paperwork and id.

What country are you in? I’ve never dealt with a gatekeeper to leave a parking garage…
@Lex
US. They also have a puncture strip so you can’t leave the wrong way. Phoenix international is the one I go to all the time.

I take lpr through all the garages and long term lots near my major international airport looking cars out for repo. Sometimes I find them, get keys cut, and drive them up out of there. I’ve never been asked to show id, paperwork, repossession order, nada. Just pay the machine which I always click lost ticket on.

The airport garages I’ve been in have free exits.

It’s happened, multiple times

Well, not from the runway because it’s fenced in and most rental cars can’t go fast enough to get sufficient lift to clear the fence.
But otherwise why would it be harder to steal a car from an airport than from anywhere else?

Oh please. They have security cameras and the car has a tracking device.
@Dallas
It has literally happened before. I’d give you links, but Googling is an important life skill you should learn.
@Dallas
So what? You commit your crime with your stolen car then you sell it on the stolen cars Facebook group.

lol.
That’s the main reason to steal a car. So you can use it in another crime.
@Ty
