Their holidays look amazing and include flights from anywhere in the UK. Has anyone tried their trips? I saw one for 17 days in Madagascar for under £2000, including flights, accommodation, most activities, and food.

When I traveled to Ecuador and the Galapagos with them, I was astounded by how much I could have for so little. Even without an upgrade, the hotels were fine. Three flights instead of two each way was a drawback, but I wasn’t surprised by it. All in all, I was rather content. Perhaps it varies depending on the country.

I have taken three trips with them, all of which began in the United States. Overall, they performed a decent job, but there are some minor drawbacks to spending a little less.
During my most recent trip with them, I inquired about some minor transportation issues, and the response I received was really unhelpful. I was able to let it slip since the issues were little, but if they had been more serious, they could have become a major issue.
If you are a laid-back traveller, I believe they do a good job. I have recommended them to others and used them several times myself.
My parents recently wanted to schedule a vacation similar to one of my Exoticca adventures, and I recommended that they choose a different firm. They are less mobile and less tolerant of difficulties, therefore I did not believe Exoticca was a suitable choice for them.

The quality of communication and logistics appears to be determined by the quality of the local tour business, therefore it is not always consistent throughout Exoticca.
